Discovered in the middle oh the 20th century, wild prawn are caught mainly on the west coast of the island of Madagascar.
Four species of penaeid prawn dominate the Malagasy catches: indicus, monoceros, semisulcatus and the famous penaeus monodon endemic to Madagascar, chosen by OSO® for its organic aquaculture.
To guarantee the freshness and excellence of the product, the prawns are sorted, graded and frozen on board immediately after they leave the water.
